Alone vs. lonely

Being alone is not so bad
It’s not the same as being lonely
I may be alone, but I’m never lonely
Coz of books, friends, writing and poetry
So rather than let a man in
Who will disrupt the peace
I choose to keep men out
And not be a tease!
