To my mom and dad on mother's day

You cradled me against your bosom

When I was a wee babe

But those memories are lost in life's daze

And I spent my adolescence fighting with you

Coz those were years that I didn't have a clue

It was in my twenties

That we grew close

I understood the sacrifices you made

For me to live a better life and succeed more

No one will believe how much you've done for me

Except maybe my father

Who's done equally

The two of you are so dear to me

And I will love you forever more,

That's a guarantee
